For explanation: The reflection factor is defined as the ratio of Reflected wave to incident wave.

\(ρ=\frac{reflected \,wave}{incident \,wave}=\frac{E_r}{E_i} \)

For a perfect reflecting surface, total incident waves are reflected completely. Er = Ei
