(b) Normal mode

The correct choice is (b) Normal mode

To explain: The circumference of the helical antenna C= πD varies with the wavelength in different modes as follows

In Normal mode: πD << λ

     Axial mode:  C ≈ λ

     Conical mode: C ≈n λ
