I had been asked this question during an interview.

My question is taken from Nano Wires and Nano Cones in section Nano Materials of Applied Chemistry

The correct option is (c) 2000^oC

To elaborate: While synthesizing the nano cones the plasma temperature is above 2000^oC. In industrial process it is produced and decomposes the hydro carbons into carbon.
