My question is from Methods of Synthesis in chapter Green Chemistry of Applied Chemistry

The correct answer is (a) Solvent waste

For explanation I would say: Micro fluid reactor is used to minimise the solvent waste. When the reaction takes place there will be a product sometimes useful by sometimes unnecessary. Such waste must be reduced.
