Straight run gasoline in the fractional column is obtained at what temperature?

(a) 135°C to 170°C

(b) 70° to 120°c

(c) 8°C to 25°C

(d) 130°C to 150°C

The correct option is (b) 70° to 120°c

The explanation: The fraction obtained in the fractionating column is in the range of about 70° to 120°c and is known as straight-run gasoline. The vaporized crude oil is again passed through the heater and vacuum to obtain heavy gas oils and lubricating oils.
