What is the radiation pattern of an isotropic radiator?

(a) Doughnut

(b) Sphere

(c) Hemisphere

(d) Circular

This question was posed to me during an online exam.

I'd like to ask this question from Types of Antenna in section Antennas and Wave Propagation of Avionics

The correct option is (b) Sphere

To explain I would say: An isotropic radiator is a theoretical point source of electromagnetic energy. The E and H fields radiate out in all directions from the point source, and at any given distance from the point source, the fields form a sphere.
