Correct answer is (a) True

The best I can explain: In order to have reinforcement, ribs can be used which mainly avoid the problem of marks formed on the parts. Reinforcing ribs are generally provided perpendicular to the parting line and made thinner than the mould walls. It is always recommended that the thickness of the ribs should lie between 40% and 60% of wall thickness.
