What is the melting point of Chamotte?

(a) 3450°F – 4620°F

(b) 3200°F – 3450°F

(c) 3100°F – 3200°F

(d) 3400°F – 3620°F

This question was addressed to me by my school teacher while I was bunking the class.

I'd like to ask this question from Indian Sand and core sand in portion Molding and Core Sands of Casting-Forming-Welding I

Correct option is (c) 3100°F – 3200°F
