Correct answer is (c) Silicon diode

For explanation I would say: A pair of red and infrared light emitting diodes are used for the light source, with peak emission wavelengths of 665 nm (red) and 935 nm (infrared). The reflected light from the skin at these two wavelengths is detected by a silicon diode.
