The correct answer is (c) 1-1.5 L

To explain: The amount of urine formed by an average kidney in one day is  1-1.5 L. The total amount of glomerular filtrate is about 180 litres per day. Very large amounts of water and other substances are re-absorbed by the kidney tubules.
