High moisture causes what in molding sands?

The doubt is from Testing of Molding Sand topic in section Sand Preparation of Casting-Forming-Welding I

Correct answer is (b) Decrease in permeability

Easy explanation: Permeability is basically the magnitude of pores present in the sands and its capacity of moisture it can hold. High moisture content causes a decrease in permeability of the sand and hence causes other problems in it.
