In which part of the plant, does photosynthesis takes place?

(a) Peroxisomes

(b) Glyoxisomes

(c) Quantosomes

(d) Lysosomes

The question was asked during an internship interview.

My doubt stems from Chloroplast Structure and Function in division Chloroplast Structure and Function of Cell Biology

Correct answer is (c) Quantosomes

For explanation I would say: Quantosomes are sub cellular organelles present in the membrane of thylakoid in the chloroplast. Their function is to absorb light energy and start the photosynthesis mechanism.
