Thread rolling process can exceed the length of rolling material during the operation.

(b) False

This question was addressed to me in an interview for internship.

My doubt stems from Thread Rolling in division Miscellaneous Forming Processes of Casting-Forming-Welding II

Right choice is (b) False

The best I can explain: In thread rolling, threaded rollers are used which forces their thread into the rolling material. And the threads are formed on the material, which then comes out from the machine. The thread is formed on the bolt, but this process does not exceed the length of rolling bolt during the operation.
