What is the voltage across the capacitor if the switch is closed and steady state is reached?

(a) 8V

(b) 0V

(c) 10V

(d) Infinity

I have been asked this question during an interview for a job.

This key question is from Charge and Voltage in division Capacitance and Capacitors of Basic Electrical Engineering

Right option is (c) 10V

To explain I would say: When steady state is reached, the capacitor acts as a open circuit and the 10V is connected in parallel to it. Hence Vc=10V.
