Calculate the value of I3, if I1= 2A and I2=3A.

I got this question by my school teacher while I was bunking the class.

The above asked question is from Kirchhoff’s Current Law topic in chapter Simple DC Networks of Basic Electrical Engineering

Right option is (a) -5A

For explanation I would say: According to KCl, I1+I2+I3=0. Hence I3=-(I1+I2)=-5A.
