Best explanation: The Planning Commission has recommended the Government of India to adopt the following minimum standard for a low-cost house: – living room (11.1m^2), veranda and kitchen 6.5m^2), bathroom (1.3m^2), lavatory (1.1m^2) and total of 20m^2.
