Find the Q factor when the voltage across the inductor is 2000V and the source voltage is 100V.

I have been asked this question during an internship interview.

The doubt is from Quality Factor in division Resonance in AC Circuits of Basic Electrical Engineering

The correct answer is (b) 20

To explain I would say: We know that voltage across the capacitor in resonance condition is equal to Q times the source voltage.

Q=VL/VS   where VL is inductive voltage and VS is source voltage. Q=2000/100=20.
