For explanation: In dry gas scrubbing process, sodium bicarbonate adsorbent is used which adsorbs the acidic gases and other dust particles. The complete process is adsorption instead of absorption. Adsorption process, in which particles or exhaustive gases adheres to surface of adsorbent by forming an extremely thin layer of particulates to the adsorbent.
