Which of the following is a temporary storage site for RNAs?

(a) P-bodies

(b) Ribosomes

(c) V-bodies

(d) Vacuole

This question was posed to me in an interview.

I would like to ask this question from Gene Expression Control in chapter Control of Gene Expression of Cell Biology

Correct answer is (a) P-bodies

To explain I would say: Cytosolic mRNA with a high rate of formation(such as housekeeping genes) form P-bodies which is the site of mRNA degradation and temporary storage.
