My doubt is from Arches Technical Terms topic in chapter Arches, Lintels, Stairs and Formwork of Construction & Building Materials

Right answer is (a) Skewback

To explain I would say: Skewback is prepared to receive the arch and from it, springs the arch. Whereas, Back is the external curve of an Arch.
