I got this question by my school teacher while I was bunking the class.

My question is taken from Types of Ground Floors topic in division Floors and Flooring of Construction & Building Materials

Right answer is (b) Void

Easiest explanation: In the given figure, A represents a void and B represents sleeper wall. Voids are provided in sleeper walls in order to keep the hollow space between the flooring and oversite concrete dry. Air bricks in the outer walls can also be provided to keep this space well-ventilated.
