Which of the following is not true about plastic pipes?

(a) Plastic pipes are cheaper than the metal pipes

(b) Plastic pipes are light in weight

(c) Plastic pipes can be installed with ordinary tools

(d) Plastic pipes are corrosive

This question was posed to me in semester exam.

My question is from Plumbing for Buildings in division Plumbing for Buildings of Construction & Building Materials

Correct choice is (d) Plastic pipes are corrosive

The explanation: Plastic pipes are light in weight.  Ordinary tools are used to install plastic pipes. Plastic pipes are non-corrosive and are cheaper than metal pipes.
