If feed is saturated vapor, then

(a) q = 1

(b) q= 0.5

(c) q= 0

(d) q= infinite

This question was posed to me in an interview for job.

I would like to ask this question from Mccabe Thiele Diagram-Line Equation in portion Key Fractionation Concepts of Distillation Design

Right choice is (c) q= 0

To explain: When the feed is saturated vapor then lines passes through (zF,zF) i.e. q = 0, when q is infinite the feed is totally withdrawn.
