During Strisinger’s model, what happens?

I had been asked this question during an interview.

This is a very interesting question from Chromosomal Abnormalities : Duplication in division Chromosomal Basis of Inheritance of Cytogenetics

Right answer is (c) Daughter strand slippage polymerase

The best explanation: Daughter strand slippage will cause looping which is stabilized by repetitive sequences. This leads to an increase in a number of repeats in the daughter.
