Continuous flow of liquid causes?

(a) Greater efficiency

(b) Lesser efficiency

(c) Affordable cost

(d) Extra cost

This question was addressed to me in semester exam.

I would like to ask this question from Common Tray Types in section Tray Design and Operation of Distillation Design

Right answer is (b) Lesser efficiency

Explanation: When the liquid flow continuously weeping through holes then the efficiency gets lesser and greater the problems.
