In case of incomplete dominance monohybrid F1 ________________ is 1:2:1.

I had been asked this question in an international level competition.

The origin of the question is Incomplete Dominance and Codominance in section Extension and Deviation from Mendelian Genetic Principles of Cytogenetics

The correct answer is (c) Bothe genotype and phenotype

The best I can explain: In case of incomplete dominance the phenotype and genotypes are same and the ratio is 1:2:1. This is because the heterozygote has a distinctly different appearance than the homozygote.
