What is the effect of impurities on elasticity?

I have been asked this question during an internship interview.

The correct answer is (d) It will slightly increase

Easy explanation: The Young modulus of elasticity is slightly increased by the addition of impurities. The intermolecular forces inside the wire effectively increase by impurity due to this external force can be easily opposed.
