Which of the following is used to protect SCR from d(v)/d(t) condition?

My doubt is from Solid-State Devices topic in division Introduction to Solid-State Devices of Electric Drives

Correct answer is (c) Snubber circuit

Easiest explanation: Snubber circuit is used to protect SCR from d(v)/d(t) condition. Snubber circuit consists of a Capacitor and resistor. The capacitor does not allow the sudden change in voltage and resistor resists the discharging of the capacitor.
