What type of lamination is used for the stator core of the turbo alternators?

(d) segmental

This question was posed to me in exam.

I would like to ask this question from Construction of Turbo-Alternators in division Design of Synchronous Machines of Design of Electrical Machines

Correct option is (d) segmental

To explain I would say: The stator core is made up of segmental laminations. The grain oriented steel laminations are another type of stator laminations made use of.
