What is the addition of the binary numbers 11011011010 and 010100101?

I have been asked this question in an interview for internship.

Correct option is (c) 11101111111

The best I can explain: The rules for Binary Addition are :

   0 + 0 = 0

   0 + 1 = 1

   1 + 0 = 1

   1 + 1 = 0 ( Carry 1)
