This question was posed to me during an interview.

This interesting question is from Signals in section Signals and Spectra of Digital Communications

Right choice is (b) No DC component

To elaborate: A band-pass signal has no DC components and has Fourier transform equal to zero. Outside the band it will not be exactly zero. Thus this results in presence of side lobes.
