I had been asked this question in an interview for internship.

I would like to ask this question from Shannon Hartley Theorem and Turbo Codes in portion Channel Coding of Digital Communications

Best explanation: There exists a limiting value for EB/N0 below which they can be no error free communication at any information rate. This EB/N0 is called as Shannon limit.
