Which method has two way link?

(b) Closed loop method

(c) Open & Closed loop method

This question was posed to me by my college professor while I was bunking the class.

My doubt stems from Synchronization and Network Synchronization in chapter Synchronization of Digital Communications

Right answer is (b) Closed loop method

The best explanation: Closed loop method requires return link, large amount of real time processing and has two way link.
