In contrast stretching, if r1≤r2  and s1≤s2 then which of the following is true?

The correct choice is (d) The transformation function is single valued and monotonically increasing

The best I can explain: The locations of points (r1,s1) and (r2,s2) control the shape of the transformation function. If r1≤r2  and s1≤s2 then the function is single valued and monotonically increasing.
