The question was posed to me during an online interview.

My doubt stems from Construction of Turbo-Alternators in section Design of Synchronous Machines of Design of Electrical Machines

Explanation: There are 2 types of rotor slots in the turbo-alternators. They are i) radial sort ii) parallel slot rotors.
