Which type of grounding is used to suppress the capacitive effect?

(b) Reactance grounding

(c) Resistance grounding

This is a very interesting question from Traction Drives in division Traction Drives of Electric Drives

The correct choice is (d) Peterson coil

To explain I would say: Peterson coil or resonance grounding is used to suppress the capacitive effect. The frequency in resonance grounding is ω^2 = 1÷(3LC).
