(c) Both the machine X and Y are stable

(d) Neither X nor Y is stable

I have been asked this question in an interview.

The doubt is from Induction Motor Phasor Diagram in section Induction Machines of Electrical Machines

Right option is (a) Machine X is only stable

The best I can explain: Induction motor operates stable in the low slip regions as the losses are reduced.
