How do you calculate the dynamic input resistance of a CB transistor?

This question was addressed to me by my college director while I was bunking the class.

My doubt stems from Physical Model of a CB Transistor in chapter Small-Signal Low-Frequency AC models of Transistors of Electronic Devices & Circuits

The correct option is (b) ΔVBE / ΔIE

Explanation: Dynamic input resistance is defined as the ratio of change in emitter base voltage to the corresponding change in the emitter current. While the collector voltage is kept at a constant value. Therefore, ri = ΔVBE / ΔIE.
