Which of the following is the most known simple interface?

(a) I2C

(b) Serial port

(c) Parallel port

(d) SPI

I have been asked this question in an internship interview.

My question is based upon I2C-I in division Basic Peripherals of Embedded Systems

Right option is (a) I2C

For explanation I would say: The I2C is the most known simple interface which is used currently. It can combine both the hardware and the software protocols to provide a bus interface which helps in the communication with many peripherals.
