Which is the region within thylakoid where water is split into oxygen?

The question was posed to me in an interview for internship.

My question is taken from Photosynthesis topic in chapter Biomass Energy of Energy Engineering

The correct option is (c) Lumen

To explain: The lumen is the region within the thylakoid membrane where water is split to obtain oxygen. The oxygen diffuses out of the cell, while the protons remain inside to build positive electrical charge inside the thylakoid.
