Correct choice is (c) Damping fins

To explain: Damping fins are used to reduce the motion of the floats. The platform is stabilized within the water by four large underwater floatation tanks so that it is supported by the buoyancy forces. The floatation tank’s surfaces are wider in appearance and are flat.
