The correct answer is (c) EDTA

For explanation: Iron oxide and copper depositions can be prevented by adding  EDTA to the boiler water. Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), is an amino poly-carboxylic acid and a colorless and a water-soluble solid.
