By which of the following fractions of petroleum aromatic hydrocarbons are produced?

(b) Wide ranging hydrocarbons

Right option is (d) Special closely boiling fractions

To elaborate: By catalytic reforming and separation of special closely boiling fractions of petroleum, aromatic hydrocarbons are obtained, while by thermal cracking with steam of wide ranging hydrocarbons, olefins are produced.
