Correct option is (b) Platinised asbestos

Easy explanation: Oswald process is used in the preparation of nitric acid. Platinised asbestos has the capacity to renew the acid from the acidified solution formed during the reaction. Thus it also promotes the rate of reaction by achieving the equilibrium state fast.
