I have been asked this question in a job interview.

I'm obligated to ask this question of Isometric Axes, Lines and Planes in chapter Isometric Projection of Engineering Drawing

The correct answer is (d) 120 degrees

To elaborate: Isometric projection is a type of projection in which the three dimensions of a solid are not only shown in one view but also their actual sizes can be measured directly from it. So it is needed that there exist equal angle between the axes for easy measurement so 360/3=120 degrees is chosen.
