I had been asked this question in exam.

My enquiry is from Isometric Drawing of Planes or Plane Figures in chapter Isometric Projection of Engineering Drawing

The correct option is (b) scalene triangle

For explanation I would say: Whatever the polygon when we are drawing it in isometric views the base will make 30 degrees and other sides will tend to show up like we are watching from some particular point as in perspective view in 1 dimension.
