Correct choice is (b) Slotted nut

The best I can explain: Slotted nut is a hexagonal nut with slots cut in the upper end of it and through opposite faces in which slotted pin is inserted through the slot which comes in line with the hole drilled in the bolt and is then opened out at its end.
