This question was posed to me by my school principal while I was bunking the class.

My question is from Geological Investigations and Silting topic in division Dams and Reservoirs of Engineering Geology

The correct choice is (c) Construction of check dams

To explain I would say: Important methods of treatment include better reservoir designs, installation of check dams at the inlet points and water-shed improvement by forestation on an extensive and intensive scale.
