Which of these is not a stage in precipitation hardening treatment?

I had been asked this question in examination.

I need to ask this question from Aluminium and its Alloys, Zinc and its Alloys topic in chapter Non Ferrous Materials of Engineering Material & Metallurgy

Right choice is (b) Tempering

Easiest explanation: The alloy is heated to a certain temperature and treated at that temperature. Then it is quenched (rapid cooling) and finally heated below solvus temperature; this is known as aging.
