Which deviations are provided to a new ‘Go’ plug gauge from the nominal size?

(a) One positive deviation

(b) One negative deviation

(c) Two positive deviations

(d) Two negative deviations

I have been asked this question in an interview.

Asked question is from Gauge Design topic in chapter Limits, Fits and Gauges of Engineering Metrology

Right option is (c) Two positive deviations

To explain I would say: A new ‘Go’ snap gauge is made with two negative deviations while a new ‘Go’ plug gauge is made with two positive deviations from the nominal size.
